We will also contribute the same dollar amount (that we contribute on the “employee only” premium) toward reducing the premium costs for Employee + Spouse, Employee + Children and Employee + Family.

While the costs are paid for by the employee through payroll deduction, they are paid with pre-tax dollars which is much more cost effective than paying with post-tax dollars.

A: Premiums are deducted automatically from your weekly paycheck (and are paid with pre-tax dollars).
   
Q: I never heard of a staffing firm contributing towards contract employee health care premiums. Am I reading this correctly?
A: Yes, you are. While many of our contract employees receive health insurance benefits from their spouse, others do not.
